In one day, visit the key sights of the university city !

09:00-12:00 : Begin at the Office du Tourisme-Inforville, see the model and tour Louvain-la-Neuve using the QR codes.
The Tourist Information Office welcomes you and gives all the information necessary for your visit, whether it be a map of the city or a recommendation. It’s also a good opportunity to visit the temporary Forum des Halles exhibition. You can also rent a digital tablet enabling you to follow the QR Code trail which will take you on a, interesting tour of the university city and its sights.

12:00-13:00 : Lunch in one of the many restaurants or snack bars in Louvain-la-Neuve.
When it comes to eating, the streets of Louvain-la-Neuve offer a wide choice for all tastes and budgets. You just need to stroll around a bit to find a menu which makes your mouth water and a table outside.

13:15-15:15 : Visit the Hergé Museum or the Museum L.
There are two museums in Louvain-la-Neuve: the Hergé Museum and the Museum L. The Hergé Museum takes you on a discovery tour of the many faces of the creator of Tintin. The L Museum, on the other hand, exhibits works of art and collections belonging to the university.

15:30-17:30 : Walk in the Lauzelle Forest.
Besides the city centre, Louvain-la-Neuve is also a nature reserve with, in particular, the Lauzelle Forest (Bois de Lauzelle), a listed site of remarkable biological diversity. The proposed walks, lined with information signs, enable you to discover all aspects of the forest, from its flora and fauna to its scientific utility.

17:30-21:30 : Shopping at the Esplanade or a film. Then, dinner in a restaurant in the centre of Louvain-la-Neuve.
After a hard day’s tourism, why not stay a while in the centre of Louvain-la-Neuve to enjoy the shops, the Esplanade shopping centre, the cinema or simply one of the many lively bars.
